I watch YouTube videos, just like most young women do. Before majority of each video is an AD, and one really caught my eye. It is the new Fall 2016 Lane Bryant campaign that is called "This Body', which entails comments that are harshly made and found on social media.
The campaign can be found here. ---->

I am not plus sized myself, but I am in the modeling world where there are women of all shapes and sizes. I think anyone could be a model, you indeed do not have to be a size 0, I'm not even a size 0. You can be whatever size and shape you please and the way you were made.

This campaign has a variety of plus sized models, including the Sports Illustrated model Ashley Graham. But also Danielle Brooks from Orange is the New Black. These people are plus-sized themselves, and they are flaunting and embracing their beautiful bodies via in this campaign. They are creating humor within it, as to serious talks that you are beautiful even if you are a size 14.

I thought this campaign could reach out to a lot of women out there who might be "plus-sized", or insecure with their bodies. Even me, like I said, I might not be plus-sized but it actaully lifted my spirits for these women who feel down about themselves when they shouldn't!

Hi Cierra! This ad is really cute--thanks for sharing! I think it's nice that they're taking a lighthearted and upbeat approach to negative comments. Although I'm also not plus-sized, this made me happy watching it. There are a large variety of beautiful bodies and I'm glad to see this attitude spread around in such a positive way. Hopefully it encourages other women to feel good about their bodies as well :)
