It’s Christmas Day and you turn on the television to the channel abc. They begin showing a Christmas celebration at Disneyland. You might think that it’s live, but it’s not. They filmed the Christmas Day Parade this weekend at Disneyland. They’ve always done it early on to edit things. On Saturday, they filmed the Christmas Parade, and the host was Mario Lopez. On Sunday, the filmed the Backstreet Boys perform and Toby Mac.
Everything was already setup including the cameras and the stages. It usually doesn’t take that long to make the takes, but they usually do more because they want to get every angle. They even filmed the crowds to include them. The weather was great. They picked the perfect time to do it. The feel for Christmas was there because of all the Christmas decorations.
I think it is crazy how much it takes to get everything right. They had so many cameras everywhere. Also they added bright lights towards the parade and the singers. Even though there was sun they still added more lights. Everything flowed easily, so I’m guessing they all had to rehearse before so they wouldn’t have to take too much time. I also liked how they let any one be included during the recordings because I thought we had to pay even more to be in the parade or the performances.

I totally agree with you, sometimes inorder to do something write you have to do it either yourself or get someone pefrect to do the job right. For instance the christmace play, it does take alot of practice and prepartaion to do it. you can just show up in front of a crowd not knowing naything naything you do you firsthave to prepare to get it right.
