I've always wanted to be an actress ever since I was in middle school. But for some reasons, my family never come to an agreement with me on this, maybe they think this job will not have a steady salary, maybe they think acting is not something they want me to be doing. So when I was supposed to choose a major at the university in China, I picked economics. That is a major almost every parent is willing to consider for their children.
Then I find out it was not the kind of life that I ever wanted, so I come to the US to chase anther career. I went to the Universal Studio, and made a coule films here in the US, and I feel like this is going to be my passion. I am learning how to film and record sound by myself, and I never get tired of it.
My biggest dream in the future is, I hope I can work with a crew, and film a real movie by ourselves. No matter how hard it is , I will keep on trying until it comes true.

I think filmmaking is such a great thing. I personally have never been to fascinated in being in a film class but I have done so because I feel that you can still learn a lot just by being around people that share your same passion. I personally believe and really like the hands on experience of being on an actual set, shooting a project. It seems that it's the best way to learn in my opinion. I am working on a short film and on a feature at the moment. I feel like I've gotten more out of filming these two projects than when I attending film school and acting class.

I definitely agree that filmmaking is one of the greatest things on the planet. I myself have had the pleasure chasing the art. It's the best therapy; to sit down and create a story from thin air and to tell that story on a piece of paper and through the lens of camera. I've written a few features myself and am now tackling teleplays. It's the most fun I've had outside of adventures

It’s nice to know that you are a film major. I understand it’s hard to major in film since I’m majored in arts. We are lucky to major in what we like and we can chase our dream. It’s great that you have your big dream and you are well prepared for it. It must be so excited to see your name credited on the film. You are right that china is a big market and I hope you can work with the china market one day. Keep faith! B)
