Thank you for sharing this video! It was actually beautiful to see the young girls have wide smiles on their faces and the young boys having a surprised look on their face. I think it is incredibly important to teach children beginning at a young age that women can have jobs or roles other than teachers, moms, chefs, etc. What I loved most about the video is how interactive the women were with the young students. Especially at a young age, it can be hard to disassociate people from their jobs so I think it is important for the children to see that these women can be firefighters and pilots and surgeons. This way, they are able to see that a woman can be those jobs without automatically assuming they are men. It is critical that we expose children to alternatives to stereotypes. I hope that this moment sticks with the children and encourages them to think against stereotypes later in life.
