I was always curious as to why people believed in healing stones. They looked really cool to me but I didn't understand the whole meaning behind it. As I started to do more research, I found a lot of interesting things about them. They are energy designed to balance the body using the healing properties of gemstones and crystals. I went to Santa Cruz the other day and a man was selling a bunch of necklaces and bracelets that he made out of healing stones. I purchased a necklace from this man. He told me that the healing stone was Aventurine. So I went home and started looking up what it does. What I found was that Aventurine is one of the premier stones to attract luck, abundance and success. It comforts, harmonizes and protects the heart, helping also to attract luck in love. Aventurine is a manifestation stone that can help you bring your dreams into reality. Then I started looking into other stones. At www.energymuse.com/about-gemstones, there are many descriptions of what they can do for you. This made me appreciate nature's wonders even more. I am fascinated with all the different colors and shapes along with the energy that can be transferred to you.

Hey Kamran,

The power of color and also minerals and earth energy makes sense to me a lot. I have some stones and crystals that seem to be grounding and attract positive things. I think there is a lot of jewelry that also attracts good things or can ward off negativity. Speaking of health I have seen were certain metals can help reduce inflammation, I wore a copper bracelet that actually did reduce pain in my wrists but Im not sure if it is a proven therapy. I have read this article as well: www.positivehealth.com/article/crystal-h...wer-of-precious-gems
It is old but seemed to provide some actual data on certain stones due to their ph and also said certain gems can be harmful. Interesting to think outside the box sometimes.
