About a week ago, six-year-old Henry Marr caught the attention of many social media users after his mother, Allie Hall, uploaded a video of her distraught son struggling to grasp the realities of humanity’s abuse of the earth. The video of the teary-eyed young environmentalist, which captured the boy’s reaction to a video on pollution screened at school, quickly went viral after being shared on Facebook. Within days, views had spiked to well over six million, as well as making national headlines on sites such as Buzzfeed, and even catching the attention of Greenpeace.

In the video, Henry exclaims, “The planet is going to be wrecked. People are just being rude to it”. In addition to monitoring his family’s water usage and active efforts in reducing household waste (which he has been doing for years), Henry has now assumed his self-proclaimed position of park ranger at a local park in his Mount Vernon, Washington hometown. In his efforts in the prevention of “making forests into places”, Henry spends his free time picking up litter and educating passersby on the threats such environmentally harmful behaviors pose to the animals who make their homes in the region. In an interview, Henry concludes with “I just want people to know that I want to have a team of people making the earth be better”.

Like you posted and how Henry said, these days many forests are getting cleaned out to build more structures and buildings. And that helps accelerating the Global Warming. It's been a major issue for quite some time and still many people don't recognize what they are actually doing. His saying through the media is really good. By doing so he could got a lot of audiences, viewers and listeners so that they could realize and participate at least in the cleaning.
But what I'm worried about is this. I can surely tell that this is not going to last. I would say it is long if it lasted more than a month. Recently through the media, lots of information and news are being spread. Another after another. For now it may seem that all the people who got to watch the interview would show their interests but later when another shocking news comes up, their focus would just shift to that.
Good thing of the media is that we could get news quickly but one of the con is too much fast shift of topics that people cannot actually manage to follow the pace.
