This week was a busy week for the news but nothing more surprising to then the girl that was eaten by a lion. This happened last Wednesday when an African lion attacked and killed the girl. She was only 24 years old and was an intern at Cat Haven. Cat Haven is about 45 miles east of Fresno, California. I still don't understand what provoked the lion
to attack the girl.
Dianna Hanson was the victim that was attack by the furious lion. I heard some say that Dianna was in the enclosure by herself when the lion attacked her. When paramedics got there, she was pronounced dead on the scene. This should bring some concern to those trainer that also do such a job like this. You never know when a lion can strike you or even kill you.
Even though you might love these animals as Dianna did, you never know what these animals are capable of doing. In my opinion, Hanson should have never been inside the lion enclosure by herself. She should have been with someone in case there was an attack. Unfortunately, this was the case for her. It's a tragic death for anyone to go through but if your dealing with animals like these your putting your life on the line everyday. Meanwhile, the lion was shot and killed when help arrived but it was to late.
