Although i may agree with you on the fact that she is probably doing this to attract attention and to get money and become even more famous than she already is. I feel like because she started off as a role model to many young girls, i feel like she should not have made such a vulgar music video because many young girls still look up to her and it looks bad on her parents also because people will think that they are incompetent of raising a daughter properly. moreover, her vma performance and wrecking ball music video has no artistic value to it whatsoever and hence should not even be done.

I totally agree with you! I don't understand why so many people are judging her so harshly. She really hasn't done anything that's worse than a lot of other young girls in music. Even years ago, when Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera started shedding their innocent, schoolgirl images for more sexy, adult images, no one freaked out and called them bad influences, at least not that I can remember. Not to mention stars like Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Janet Jackson. All of these ladies have had some pretty risque performances and no one even gives it a second thought because they weren't child stars. I feel like the media has blown this thing way out of proportion. I think they should be focusing more on how she’s put out all these hits lately, and how her voice is maturing and sounds really good!

It is definitely a good business move to put stuff out there that causes this much controversy. However as an artist who would want to be remembered for the girl who twerked on the VMAs or in fact forgotten because of it. I know, it sounds far fetched to think that people will ever forget that performance but truth is in the future when people are studying music history I don't think they'll be talking about it (I pray that they don't at least), not when they can be talking about actual musicians. I have to say that I do appreciate the fact that she's comfortable in her skin because as a woman we all know how hard that is. However, she is almost only bones so doesn't that make girls want to aspire to be so so skinny too, is that even healthy?

I can't agree with everything you say now her new song like wrecking ball i like she sings very nicely in that but then the rest of the album was just awful to me. She's trying to do some rap in it and she rapping about nothing her rapping was awful. Now all the stunts she's been doing are just awful. She's a celebrity and admired by thousands who look up to her and see her as a role model especially those who are too young to know better. So shouldn't you show yourself in a more respectable way when so many people especially kids want to be like you. Her being naked in a video okay a little bad but you could just say you comfortable in your skin but licking all over a sledge hammer and shaking you but all over the VMA's and wearing such a revealing outfit while doing so uh no that is too much.
