I actually just went to a very intimate Coldplay show where the whole band and 500 other people sat in a room filled with amazing lights, props, and visuals. Coldplay was on a small stage in the middle of a room, while 500 people surrounded them in chairs. They played all of the songs off of their new album called "Ghost Stories". The album was so beautiful. I have seen Coldplay once before, but this show was just breathtaking. I couldn't believe how close I was to the stage and how amazing they were. It felt so surreal being there, I still can't believe I was just 10 feet away from them all. "Ghost Stories" is said to be an album that has many songs written about Chris Martin's (Lead Singer of the band) recent divorce with his wife, Gwenyth Paltrow. Chris Martin has this passion in his voice. He makes the songs come to life and he conveys the emotions within the song amazingly. The lyrics and the music of this album really came to life during this show and I absolutely cannot wait until it comes out. They are advertising it very well within the media as well. They just had a contest where they would post hints up on Twitter as to where a sheet of lyrics are hidden. They hid sheets of lyrics to each song on their new album in a ghost story book in libraries around the world. The first to find the sheet of lyrics would be eligible to win a trip to their show in London. There albums hits stores on May 19, 2014. They also have a concert in Los Angeles that day.
