Perhaps all of us have become inured and numb to the numerous news regarding the war, attacks and accidents happening in the Middle East Region given that they are se frequent that we have become accustomed to it. I have chosen these piece of news to study the effect of media in contributing to such indifference of the conception of people. In the news, it describes that Turkish army launched attack on IS and it is quoted that the soldiers are working hard and a lot of casualties was caused as a result.

However, it prompts us to wonder if the media is justifying their acts of attacking others that might involve innocent people. The media in the developped countries usually justify the acts of attack on other countries by only reporting the words of the countries launching attack on other countries, which is susceptible of being bias. As a result of media's preferences and language, the public tend to empathize with the soldiers and indifference towards the life of the middle eastern people as if their life worthed nothing.
