Our society has let these people run for president. We chose as a country to let these two run for one of the most powerful positions in the world and we are to blame. Trump or Hilary 2016 is the laughing stock of the world. I feel that we should have a write in candidate this election. I my self as a young american dont even want to vote this year because i know that my vote doesn't really count and there a no good choices so choose from.

Good Evening Michelle
I agree the future is uncertain for america. Both candidates lack any good qualities. It feels as if america will be flipping a coin for is a future.

I do think that we have to choose between the lesser of two evils. I would much rather choose Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump any day. Donald Trump says that he can do all of these things to change our country but he never explains exactly how he is going to do it. He is not a very trustworthy person and his companies have been bankrupt many times. Hillary at least has a lot of experience working with politics. I would be more satisfied if Hillary Clinton became president.

The fact that we have to choose between bad and worse is a testament to the broken two party system we have in America. It's unfortunate that any third party candidate would get crushed a la Ross Perot but that's the issue with multiple part systems; having two similar parties will fracture the voting base and allow another party to win despite not receiving a majority of votes. It is also interesting to note the role of the media in this whole race. the media likes to poke fun at the candidates, particularly Trump, but they never really discuss in detail the positions or vision that these people lay forth. After a cursory look at both candidates websites, Hillary has 39 issues that she takes a stand on, while Trump has 28. Each issue has a well laid plan describing what will happen when that person becomes president. Trump may be all talk in his speeches and in the media, but behind the scenes he seems to have it together. It's just important to remember that any media outlet will have it's own biases that we should take into consideration when we listen.
