So just recently, third party candidate Gary Johnson made a fool of himself in an interview. Like many of you, I’m aware that our two candidates aren’t ideal but I absolutely do not think this other choice has what it takes to lead our country at all. When asked if he could pull even on the debate stage (if he gets opportunity to go on), he said that e thinks he could do very well, not because of his debate performance but as a reminder to people that there’s a third choice. So what he means by this is that if Clinton and/or Trump were to prove him wrong in any of his policies or positions or even economic facts, he’s saying that wouldn’t matter. I do get what he’s saying but if he wants even the slightest chance at winning the presidency, he has to take the debate process more seriously.

The thing about Johnson is that most people don’t know about his policies. He’s a libertarian which typically leans conservative but even then, he still needs to be spreading the word on where he stands. If he were to get onto the debate stage, that would be huge for him but in this interview, he doesn’t sound like it’s gonna be huge at all. Johnson then proceeded to stick his tongue out in the interview and say, “I think I could stand up there for the whole debate and not say anything.” So maybe it’s safe to say that none of the candidates are ideal.

Although it would in fact make things interesting especially if you don’t like Trump or Clinton..I still wouldn’t recommend going with the Gary Johnson. Although I’d take 100 of him over Donald Trump, I still don’t see his confidence nor his leadership in the few clips I’ve seen. The interview was done for MSNBC which is a major political news network. Here’s the full story if you’re interested.
