I'm all for black lives matter or any life really. I think you guys are misunderstanding the concept of "all lives matter." Unarmed people die and get shot at all the time. That alone is not okay. Yet we don't really talk about the white kid that get shot for no reason because we would lose "focus"?

I think talking about improving police evaluation and training would be more productive. Let's talk about how every cop should be required to wear a camera and how everyone should be free to see the evidence if a police action comes into question.

Instead everyone wants to make it a race thing. We see black people kill police officers in Texas for the injustice of police brutality. Even though they killed black cops as well.

So at a certain point we need to focus on all lives matter. No one should take a life if there are other ways to prevent it. We shouldn't make it a race thing and bring more hate. If we want to end racism we should start by not focusing so much on one race.

I remember one of the family members talking to an interview after her brother has been shot by a police. She said don't riot in our neighborhood and go riot/steal in white people's neighborhood.

That just doesn't seem that productive to me. I would love for anyone to explain to me how I am wrong or if I'm misunderstanding something.

I'm not black or white but I have suffered against racism in the past. I have never once thought to myself that I should cause violence or be racist back to the people that have shown prejudice against me.

I think that everyone is right. Police officers need to have better training . People also need to do research on what Black Lives Matter is trying to do. People who don't understand BLM should either learn about it and try to help or just stay out of it. I hope that more people will try to understand what Black Lives Matter is trying to do .

I agree! All Live Matter- that is a true fact. But what we see is that all lives are not at risk when pulled over by the police- BLACK LIVES ARE! So the Black Lives Matter movement is an opportunity to shine a light on the life threatening encounters African Americans face when they encounter law enforcement. So the movement is not a slap in the face of other lives, but push for the reality of Black Lives.
