So as a lot of you probably heard, Mike Pence went to go see Hamilton this week. As a side note, I'd like to say that nobody in the current cast of Hamilton is original. All the celebrities that the show basically created and swept the Tony's with, those guys are all gone. That's how Broadway shows usually go. The cast basically made an announcement to Pence that they hoped the show inspired him to fight for the diversity of the American people because the Trump administration ran a campaign that didn't seem to uphold that belief. Then what does Donald Trump do? He did what he does best..he got on twitter and starts trashing the show.
Pence even publicly said that he loved the show and he was not offended by their announcement (he was more offended by the boos when he walked in) but Trump decides to take it to the extreme and make a moron out of himself. What have we gotten ourselves into, America?

I thought that the message delivered by the Hamilton cast was fair and classy. It was an important gesture and would have been such a waste had they not taken advantage of the situation. Donald Trump tweeted "the theater should be a safe and special place". Funny when Trump's campaign made the country a very unsafe and unspecial place. Also, Abraham Lincoln.
