After the attacks on Paris last week, a video of a blindfolded Muslim man hugging mourners of Paris went viral. He stood by the site of the attacks and had two signs by his feet that said: "I'm a Muslim, but I'm told that I'm a terrorist" and "I trust you, do you trust me? If yes, hug me." Hundreds of Parisians did and after it was over, he took of his blindfold and thanked everyone who hugged him. The man said he did it to send a message to everyone and just because he is a Muslim, it doesn't make him a terrorist. He went on to say that last week was his birthday, but he didn't go out and deeply feels for all of the victims' families. His point was that the word 'Muslim' doesn't necessarily mean 'terrorist' and that a Muslim would never do that because their religion forbids it.
I thought this was a really touching video and a powerful message to send to others because you can never assume someone is what you think they are just because they're a certain race, gender, religion, age, etc. It depends on the person because we're all different, on the inside and out. This just shows how a simple act of kindness can go a long way and prove a good point. The people in the video seemed to be touched by his message too. It was nice to see such a positive video with an important message in it.

I also saw this vidoe, and it is really heartwarming. It is so true what you are saying about how we can't judge people based on their religion. And it is so much love in this video, and that is really important it this difficult and sad times.
