In the article, Growing fear inside GOP about Trump by Eric Bradner and Phil Mattingly it discusses the republican party members and “donors ”are concern about Donald Trump chances of winning the presidential election in November. In the article it explains that many republicans fear that Donald’s comments about a “judge’s Mexican heritage” could be one of the many reasons that his chances decrease of winning the presidential election. Donald Trump had discussd that he believe the “U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel” was bias in the lawsuit against “involving Trump University because of his Mexican heritage”. Many republicans believe that the “GOP’s ability to win the Latino vote for many elections to come”. Their concerns have increase due to Trumps stating that he would “have the same concerns about the impartially of a Muslim judge”. Trumps constant remarks have cause the GOP to fear that it will lead to Donald Trump to lose the latino voters. I think its interesting that the GOP is just starting to fear or worry that Donald Trump rude comments will cost his the presidential election. Furthermore, I find it interesting that the republican party decided to support him in his presidential campaign because his statements about minority group such as latinos are causing problems.
