What inspired me to write on this topic was a forum i read posted in here, and also after watching so many criminal mind episodes. I first learned this in my psychology class. It taught me the traits that these kinds of people hold, and she told us how at first glance they appear to be normal people, and are good at hiding their insanity. This made me kind of scared because these people are dangerous, and can hurt people emotionally and physically. They don't mind abusing people, and are very negative and mean. The reason why i know this is because i used to personally know a person close to me who seemed to be a narcissist. This person made my life upside down, and they caused so much unnecessary drama and negativity into my life. I don't blame this on them because some suffer from being delusional , and because it is a mental illness, but the problem is that many of these people pretend to be sane. They keep living life without being diagnosed. These kinds of people need help, and they need to get diagnosed. I've read so many articles about innocent good people getting killed by psychopaths. It's so sad, and it was mainly because they were naive as how to identity dangerous people like these. I'm pretty sure they didnt even know that people like these existed.

They need to create programs for the public to learn how to identify people like this in order to protect themselves from them. These kind of people are good at making the other person feel like they are the ones who are insane, and they put blame on others. I hope people become more aware about this problem because i wouldn't want anyone to went what i went through knowing a narcissist. I also don't want any other people getting killed by psychopaths.

I also found this subject very interesting when I was taking a psychology class. I am very interested in the human mind and human personality disorders, so I have done quite a bit of research on it. Serial killers and psychopaths tend to stem from abusive households and unhealthy environments. To cover up their pain, killing people is the only way to help them cope with things. They feel no emotions. The personality disorder that really intrigues me is dissociative identity disorder, and that is when an individual has multiple personalities and completely changes their character to fit the personality that is being portrayed. People develop these multiple personalities because of a traumatic experience they have been through and creating different personalities is how they cope with it. I also agree that people need to be well-educated on mental illness and those who have mental illnesses should not be in denial that they have an issue.
