Soylent is a meal replacement drink that contains 20% of the necessary nutrients a person's body needs. The company markets a nutritious and affordable meal replacement, drink, powder, and a food bar. I was introduced to Soylent by a friend and it was a great convenience to have a meal-in-a-bottle for quick breakfasts or in between night classes. In recent news Soylent has had to stop selling itts powdered formula and food bar because customers were complaining of gastrointestinal problems after using the products. This problem has left the company with one product to offer, their soylent drink, which I’m sure is a bummer to customers who prefer the other products. I was going to renew my subscription, but in light of Soylent recent issues, I will wait a bit longer before placing that order.
