www.facebook.com/hashtag/mannequinchalle...=6350783835600410853 :(

Hillary Clinton posted a video of herself, former President Bill Clinton, Jon Bon Jovi and her staff participating in the "mannequin challenge" along with the caption "don't stand still. Vote today!" The videos usually involve groups of people gathering and freezing in place in elaborate scenarios. I decided to post about this because I plan on writing about the election for next week. I think that Hillary is using popular culture to reach younger voters. This is apparent on her Twitter, through her nae nae and dab dances, and now the mannequin challenge. Rapper of the original Mannequin Challenge song even supported Hillary by retweeting the video and writing "Go vote for her". The fact that she posted this to her Twitter platform, rather than her other accounts or website, shows how she is trying to get this young voters attention. I guess we will see soon if the Mannequin challenge helps Clinton win in the polls.

Hillary Clinton should get a lot of credit for trying to appeal to the younger generations. She has participated in almost all the new trends and has used her social media as a political platform. With her appealing to young voters time and time again, it was truly a shock that she did not get elected president. She tried to appeal to every American citizen out there, with not once degrading them or calling them disgusting names. Her participating in the Mannequin challenge really showed her sense of humor, and she would have made a great president. I wish all of our presidents had the same sense of humor Obama and Clinton appear to have.
