The cast of Hamilton has surely made an impact in Broadway that led it to win a Tony award for best play. After they have performed a show in New York, the new Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, did not leave before listening to a few words that the cast had for him. They cast mentioned to him about the diversity that America is composed of and the concern that with the new administration of the U.S, will not be protecting those that live within the country. In response to that, Donald then response to the cast via twitter, telling them that they were "very rude and that they need to apologize.
I think that it the cast of Hamilton just expressed what they feeling and what better way than after the play. The concern that many people are going to be affected through the new administration, seeing celebrities against the racism and hate that has been spread by Donald Trump, has created a unity amongst those that are being affected. I think it was a good idea and opportunity that the cast has take to let him know the concerns that are going through the people when the new administration governs.
